I made a purchase and discovered that the books I wanted were available in store. Before making the purchase at the local B&N I contacted customer service to see if I could cancel, the books were due to be shipped mid June in over a month and I was able to go buy them now. The associate Jhon assured me it was taken care of and canceled. Later in the week after already buying the books in store I come to find out that they lied and did not cancel the order. I contacted again to get them canceled knowing I already bought them and don't want to wait till Mid June to get something I already had. Another associate saying they can't make the cancel informed me that it is due to be shipped even though it says the product will be delivered June 16th and it being Mid May I find it hard to believe that they can't help me get it canceled when one associate was already supposed to have done it. No sorry for the mess ups just excuses for why something shipping almost a month from now can't be canceled. Ended up getting one canceled that has an even earlier date than the other but one that's due to ship even later can't be canceled. I shouldn't have to be wasting gas because someone did not do what they said that they did. Ridiculous and I will not be renewing my yearly membership or my sisters with them since they do not want to help correct what they failed to do. I even made sure to see if I could cancel BEFORE making the purchase but yet I'm still getting charged.
