I've been a AT&T customer for years

I've been a AT&T customer for years. When moving to an area where AT&T coverage is poor we changed carriers. I cancelled my service in April of 2024, every month they continued to bill me. Average call time on hold was an hour (one time 2 hours - I was being stubborn). The bill in July was treated differently and AT&T claimed they'd never received my cancellation and had no record of previous conversations. I guess the bill reversals was spontaneous kindness on their part? When I called the final time it was clear it was a collection agency masking itself as AT&T. There was extremely unprofessional behavior, shouting etc in the background. I opted to pay the final bill which I did not owe because the constant calls were impacting my health. I will never be an AT&T customer again and will ensure all my friends and family know they are criminals and are no longer the trusted corporation of the past.
