AT&T does not "hear" its customers, as evidenced by the over 8,000 reviews, many of which have a one-star rating. It is best to change carriers for unhappy customers instead of wasting energy hoping they change their customer service. Additionally, it is astounding that agents hard sell (several times) during your call before they ever resolve your issue of calling in, most times without resolving the customer's hardship. Moreover, I repeatedly informed the AT&T agents that I was not interested in hearing the upsell offers, and they still pleaded to hear them!I have been in convention sales for two decades. Unless I want to assure failure when I sell a package, it is common sense not to attempt upselling when a customer is displeased. This review is not to run a rant, so that viewers can read. My review is for AT&T Executives. I understand cutting costs, and it's all about numbers to keep your jobs. However, there is a lot of competition available to consumers, and if, in the end, millions leave, that would be a significant loss for AT&T.Customer service needs an overhaul. What is currently happening is not acceptable!
