Absolutely the most horrible customer service ever!!! We have a business number that we have had for 30 years, we have a device we use to forward the calls we get from the business to my husbands cellphone, they decided to retire the device and the number became unavailable, they didn't bother tell us about it, but they sure were happy to collect payment from us, I had to call to find out what was going on, I called at 9:30am trying to get someone to help me figure out what happened, finally I asked for them to give me a transfer pin number, they told me we will text it to you to the number, I told them you can't because it's not a cellphone, it's just a landline that gets forwarded, we kept going back and forth with it, they kept giving me the run arounds I made numerous attempts with different reps so I finally gave up at 1:45pm, we decided it was best to go in person to a comprate store, only to be told there was nothing they can do, we could not lose that number so we were forced to transfer our cellphone services to them, I explained to them that 2 of those lines we have are in Southern California, we live in Northern California, my parents phones are old and still requires a SIM card, the rep told me to give it 24 hours so I can add my father to manage the account so he can go into a store and have them put a SIM card, I told them I need their phones on now because my mother is receiving dialysis treatments and in case of an emergency they need their phones on, she told me they can go to the nearest store and they will do that for them as long as I'm on the phone and give authority to do so, I call the store and they said I had to be there physically after I literally just told him I lived in San Jose 😑 he then said I had to wait 30 days to be able to add my father to the account, then he can go and get a SIM card, I once again called AT&T customer service and kept getting the run around once again, I asked again to give me a transfer pin number because at this point I refused to have them as a cellphone carrier and again they refused to do so. They are the worst cellular company!!! I regret that we had to forcefully transfer our awesome services we had with Verizon and go with such a horrible company, makes me so angry I was forced to transfer so I don't lose the business number 😡
