AT&T, Where the customer does not matter, we do what we want…

My blood boils when I think of how bad this company, lies and screws over the customer. EVERYTHING they promise you in person or at point of sale, is a lie. Your bill will always be double what they promised, their service absolutely sucks. Once the sales group is done lying to your face, you will NEVER be allowed to speak with a manager. You’ll never get one on the phone, they hide behind their 2 way glass at the stores. They are nothing but liars and cowards. I thought Verizon was bad, I had them for 25 years. AT&T made all kinds of promises and guaranteed me products and pricing, all of which was 100% bullshit. I have called to shut off my home internet, I had it first and it rarely worked. Then when you call their customer service line, best of luck speaking Filipino, because that’s all you are gonna get. Some staff member that barely speaks English which is infuriating but it doesn’t matter, because they’re aren’t going to follow through with the bullshit they agree to anyway. Then of course the monthly price they promised, well, if you bundle your internet and cell service, they screw in two different holes. Thats when I got the cell phone. I signed the contract for a cell phone at the end of a business day, which was also, their last day of billing. Of course I had no idea of what was happening. For that 4 hours that night, that I had the new phone, they charged me the full previous month. The first 6 months I’m a customer I get collection calls from them daily!!! Because they billed me for a month that I wasn’t a customer. But, either I pay their horseshit $200 a month, or they shut off the phone. Mind you, my bill was sold to me as $75 a month. F’ing crooks that utilize all overseas call centers and avoid customer interactions, except to sell, at all costs. God knows who you are calling or worse, giving your personal info to in the Philippines. If you are reading these reviews to decide to do business with AT&T, do NOT do it!! You will be miserable. Even when you manage to get one of their azz holes customer English speaking service hacks on the phone, they do not give a single shit how they talk to you, whether they make you happy or not. Worst company and proof of why monopoly companies need to be wiped out in America. If they went out of business and all lost their jobs, I would laugh in their faces because they deserve it. You are not allowed to speak with anyone above front line employee, that should tell you everything you need to know. I have 5-6 months left with this cell phone and I will be shutting off that account too the day I am able to do so. AVOID AT&T LIKE THE PLAGUE. You will regret it, very dishonest group of people and that shit starts at the top and trickles down. Their corporate board must be the slimiest scumbags that the telecommunications industry has to offer. I wish I could give them less stars, they do not deserve a half star. Best of luck.
