My Asus monitor V2249HE is a year old and suddenly developed a big black mark on the screen. Sent a complaint to Asus with a photo of the screen and their reply was that the screen was cracked. I pointed out there was no crack at all. They responded the monitor was damaged so they couldn't replace it under the warranty. Absolute rubbish. So I emailed the UK CEO, no reply as yet. Very fortunately I bought it from Amazon so I sent a complaint to them as well and, lo and behold, they're sending me a replacement. Yet again Amazon prove to be amazing. I won't buy Asus again and I only buy from Amazon these days.UPDATE: so I did send them my details and they promised to follow up. Heard nothing so emailed again, was told 'we'll chase this, don't worry it won't be forgotten' - heard nothing at all since - how useless
