Bought my son a gaming laptop for Christmas, which cost me over $1000. After 4 months the laptop would not hold a charge so I was advised by their customer service to send it in because it was still under warranty. NOW THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS!! Asus received the laptop 5/14 and was told it was in the process of being repaired. On June 3rd, Asus sent me an email with a pic showing damage to my laptop. IT WASN'T DAMAGED WHEN WE SENT IT IN!! PLUS...It didn't even look like my laptop. Of course ASUS charged me for the damage and wouldn't return my laptop until I paid for it. I asked for more pics for the damage and never received them. Being frustrated, I just paid the fee so that my son could get his laptop back. Still waiting, I received this email on June 28th ( Your product is currently waiting on materials/parts to proceed with repairs. These items have been ordered, and repairs will resume once the materials/parts have been received.) ITS BEEN OVER 3 WEEKS!! On July 13th, I received another email stating(Unfortunately, your payment made through Paypal for your repair quotation was not able to be processed due to an error with the transaction. Please resubmit your payment at your earliest convenience. Once the transaction has been processed, we will resume the repair of your unit. If you have any questions, please reach back out to us.) ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? So I had to resubmit a payment for damage I DIDN'T DO!! Today is July 21st and I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY LAPTOP!! Excuse after excuse. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANY ASUS PRODUCTS!! A FREAKIN RIPOFF!!
