I have a laptop zenbook which the LED screen just cracked because I have held using my fingers on the screen for less than 5 second.The laptop is less than 6 months old and the customer services incharge has told me that this is physical damage and it is not covered under warranty.Where by, this is a less than 6 months old laptop, I did not put any thing on top of the laptop and neither do I dropped the laptop. And just by telling me holding the laptop for less than 5 second I am able to put significant pressure strong enough to crack the laptop.This is definitely a hardware issue and the counter service center customer service wanted me to pay for it just because the policy said this is not covered under the warranty.ASUS This is really ridiculous to provide such a horrible service without access with the duration bought for the laptop and just come into such conclusion. I am seriously disappointed with ASUS service. I have paid for the customer service initial evaluation of the laptop. Even I been to other service certer they will evaluate the cause before jumping into conclusion. However, I am shocked that ASUS is not as reasonable as their competitors.
