I want to warn you about Asus Zen models, Asus sells them as premium computers, for premium prices, but my experience is horrible.The model that I bought does not start from sleeping mode. The computer is under warranty.At first the support claimed that the error was due to drivers. I kept reinstalling drivers and emailing the support for about a month.Then I demanded that they take the computer in for repair. In the end I was directed to some web pages with incomprehensible processes. I received instructions on how carefully I should pack the computer, while Asus disclaimed responsibility for any damage during transport.When I got through the process, I had to take time off for the whole day to be home and wait for FedEx to pick up the computer. I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and the computer was sent to the Netherlands.After some time I was told that the error could not be reproduced and the computer was sent back to me. Asus did not follow their own instructions on how to package the computer at all. Probably it wasn't that careful because I was the one who ran the risk of the computer being damaged.In principle, immediately after I received the computer, I could ascertain that the error remained.Receiving the computer from FedEx was not so easy either. In total, FedEx announced to me three different days that they will deliver. In other words, I had to stay at home and wait for FedEx for three days.Twice I sent the computer to support with the same result. The error remains. In total, I have had to manage 56 days without the computer. All during the warranty.I use the computer as a work tool, so for me it is difficult to manage without the computer, therefore I demanded that Asus replace me with a new computer.Asus refuses to do that and now claims that the error is due to the programs that I installed on the computer. But there are almost no programs installed on the computer because I use cloud services.It is clear to me that Asus warranty strategy is to turn everything into an obstacle, make it difficult and increase risks for consumers to claim their right if there is a fault with their products.Big warning for Asus as a company and specifically Asus Zen computers. For me? I'm done with Asus.
