I would give 5 stars to most of the Asus laptops I have had, but if they go wrong then you have a problem. My £1200 laptop needs a new battery after 3.5 years use, but Asus do not supply these directly and no official Asus parts companies stock this part. The only sources are directly from China - which are likely to be dodgy copies or a copy from amazon which may or may not be OK. So as far as Asus are concerned my laptop is obsolete. Very disappointed after so many years loyal to Asus.
