I bought a ROG Stryx in 2023 and it has been nothing but a nightmare. It constantly overheats and crashes, and no amount of tinkering seems to solve the problem, which I have been told is probably due to high-powered chips packed too closely together (despite all the unused internal space) and poorly applied thermal paste. I've sent it back to ASUS twice for repair, a process which takes at least four weeks and requires the machine to be shipped too and from Croatia, and all they have done is a factory reset and reinstall the BIOS, wiping everything on the machine (it's backed up but still a pain). It's just a crap product sold in bulk by a company that has no commitment to service. I wish I had never bought one of their products and, judging by their Trustpilot score, so do far too many other people.
