After completing the procedure, the device was completely unresponsive—no display, no charge indicator, and no response to force restart.We took the device to an authorized Apple service center the next day and were informed that it had a motherboard failure, with a repair estimate of ₹63,000. The phone had never been dropped or exposed to water.For a premium flagship device, this kind of failure—barely two years into responsible usage—is deeply disappointing. It raises critical concerns about product longevity and after-sales policies. The exorbitant repair cost almost compels users to discard and repurchase, which feels unfair and unsustainable.I urge Apple to evaluate such cases and consider more accountable service options.
