I can't fault AOL and especially Leighanne's help. I brought a Sharp washing machine in January and one of the paddles had come loose. I reported this at the beginning of June and the engineer came out. He was even miffed that they hadn't told him what the problem was and that they don't carry spare parts so that was a wasted trip for him and me. I joked and said you would be back to fit it and he said no I am on holiday for 2 weeks it will be someone else. I left it a couple of weeks and called the repair line and was told I would have to wait 60 days for the part. It has now turned into 90 days. Yes I could have ordered a new one online and delivered the next day but why should I when the machine is in warranty. Leighanne promised to call Sharp this morning and have me in on the call. This was done and Sharp were not apologetic and said the part would take up to 90 days and why wasn't I using the machine. I replied politely and said that I wasn't prepared for any other clothes to be damaged as one top had been caught in the holes of the drum. AOL instantly gave me the opportunity to have a new machine of my choice up to the value of what i paid back in January, in fact the new machine was £20 more which was waived, delivery and collection and this will be delivered tomorrow. Thank you Leighanne for being so helpful and finally resolving my issue. I will not be buying another Sharp product.
