I did the ancestry dna and I must admittedly say how disappointed it was. It matched me to people who where in my family tree who where not related to me in any blood capacity but said they where a dna match. This leads me to believe if you already had a family tree on ancestry they just use that to try to give you a sense of how much they have matched others to you.
