Closed my account with no reason

Discusting behaviour by Amex.My card suddenly stopped working on a day my wife was stranded with my 3 year daughter with only her Amex on her. Called Amex to find put what was going on to be told my account was under review. No letter or No email. Would never have know if I never made the call.Asking to see my bank statements to prove I earned to 50k per year i stated on my application. My statements were always paid in full up to this point. I Provided the information requested to them to then receive a letter in the post to say I was in breach and there was nothing I could do to rectify the issue. No explanation as to what the breach was. Tried to contact them on numerous occasions to be onnhold for over 1.5 hours every time. Totally unacceptable amd Discusting behaviour. Stay well clear.
