I’ve been with AMEX for 6 years and I have the Gold and Blue card. NEVER missed a payment! I get an email saying my limit decreased to 1200 on my blue card! I called and was told my credit report said I had late payments which is a total lie. I have 100 on time payment history with all of my accounts. So she gave me an option to send in my bank statement, assets, etc. But my credit has been affected already. Why couldn’t they ask for the documentation prior to decreasing my limit to nothing. And I thought the reason was late payments? Not consistent with what you’re being told. I’m extremely frustrated and feel overwhelmed with how I was treated as a “valued customer” and I always wanted an AMEX due to the name, but this company is the worst CC company I have ever been with.
