Once up on a time AmEx was known for great customer service, even thought they are one the least preferred credit card service providers for retailers due to over charging transaction fees. After being a paying member for many years without missing a payment, they were just incompetent to process my last transaction despite several phone calls and assurance that the transaction will be processed. Had to speak to different customer service people, each was saying something different, as if there's no communications between them, eventually saying that I'll have to send proof of income to review my credit limit, just embarrassing! Despite having an excellent credit history/score, they've now closed my account without my consent and for no good reason, and effectively prevented me to use the serval thousand loyalty pints that I've earned overtime on my account. Very frustrating & disappointing to say the least. Never again will use AmEx, worst credit company and a rip-off!
