Unfortunately, I encountered unprofessional customer service, including an agent named Christian who left me on hold without returning. Others I spoke to, including some American and some agents from India speaker representatives, told me I needed to contact the merchant service instead of them.From my experience with American Express travel recently, it seems that when you make a reservation with one airline, you might unexpectedly find that your flight is with another airline you weren’t aware of. This actually happened to us last month when we returned from Barcelona.Now, I’ve booked a flight for next month with Qantas, but the AMEX app is asking me to call Turkish Airlines.
