I had applied close to 20 times and never received 1 response so I made a new email address, reapplied but this time changed my race to biracial from white. The very next day, with the same resume, I had an interview. The phone part went great. The interviewer said I gave a top 10 all time answer and on that call scheduled an in person interview. 10 minutes after arriving, I knew I was cooked. Just by watching the staff walk in, it was apparent that straight white males are not allowed, as I was the only one in the building. There was a group of new hires in the same waiting area, none of which were white. The VERY first part of the interview was a trip to the DEI wall where they brag about how diverse they are, which we all know is code for no white biological males allowed. Every interviewer clearly seemed like they were wasting their time talking to me, and were completely disinterested. They were on their laptops the whole time, not listening. One of the ladies seemed offended that I was even there, Then they had me role play car wash sales, which is the most childish and ineffective thing I have ever experienced in a professional setting. Total waste of my time. Don't even bother applying if you're a white male. Unless, of course, you want to see if this is true, in which case go for it! Lastly, 2 of my friends had no problem getting hired. One is Latina, the other is Asian, neither had experience nor are the sharpest tools in the shed. Subsequently, I received an email from them saying I'm not hired, followed by employment offers from Citi Bank and PNC. Needless to say, I cancelled my Amex charge card because I won't do business with racists.
