Will not accept return of damaged book

One of the books in my order was supposed to be "like new" but arrived with a taped up spine and creases in the cover. The cardboard packaging was not dented. The vendor wouldn't allow me to mail it back for refund (they insisted on my taking photos ... and my phone was busted at the time). By the time I got a replacement phone, the 30 days had expired. I should have looked at TrustPilot before placing the order ... my subsequent orders have gone to more highly rated booksellers!
