Unsatisfied Customer!Jairo (Office Manager)AAA Pineville10403 Park Road Suite A,Charlotte, NC 28210I traveled for work to NC in my reliable 2007 Chevy Tahoe in July. My only issues were the (1)stabilizer light comes goes on and off at certain periods of time & the odometer light is out. I noticed two weeks ago that my battery indicator dropped below the first hash mark and called my mechanic in Maryland for advice. He stated that the alternator is going bad and need to be replaced. So, I booked an appointment with AAA at Pineville, NC for repair on 8/31. Mechanic that open the shop was rude, but I blew it off and sat in the lounge. After 3hrs, my truck was ready. I should have initially picked up on the issue when the office manager on duty asked about my odometer light. I jumped in and drove 35min away to my residence and realized the engine light came on. When I arrived to the parking lot to back up, I noticed that my truck began hesitating in reverse. I pulled forward and saw my differential selector was placed in 4⬆️. When I attempted to place it back to the original setting AUTO, it would not go back to that dial(AUTO). I immediately called back to AAA to complain and was told to call back next week to the manager. On 9/5 at 8:23am, I spoke with the head office member and explained the situation. I asked will they HELP cover part of the cost of repair when I take it to a dealership. The answer I received was, “bring it in and let us look at it”. I said great, I plan to get an alignment there after I get my tires replaced this weekend. Now, this is when I realized the office manager had no intention on reaching a resolution. He said to me, “we replaced your alternator, so if this issue has nothing to do with that I won’t pay anything”. I don’t want to assume, but it appears in my case AAA created an issue to continue getting my business.
