Member for many years but never used this service. This complaint is from 06/24 thru 09/24While on a classic car cruise, our car broke down. Contacted AAA. 3 hours pass with no results. Called AAA again, they couldn't find that we called; on hold then they said the operator failed to input our call on their system. Husband repeated all the information then AAA said they would place the order. Waited for couple hours. Husband received a call from the tow company saying they were at our home waiting to pick us up!!! AAA sent the tow company to our house instead of where we were!! Tow company then informed us they were unable to help us since their equipment couldn't tow our vehicle! So, another call to AAA! While my husband was on the phone again, I called to speak to a supervisor but never did, just people who didn't care! Finally got a tow truck able to tow our car. Long story overall but finally got home 7 hours later. Never rec'd call next day as promised. Couple of weeks later I cancelled our membership, got the run around but then supposably talked with someone authorized to refund $99.16. To date no refund, AAA employees useless, no return calls as promised. It's obvious they intend not to refund us. I never do reviews or file complaints but, in this case, I felt necessary to do so. As well as I filed a complaint with the AG!
