Emirates Airlines has become akin to the once-mighty Manchester United, now desperately clawing at the bottom of the rankings alongside budget airlines, while Qatar and Singapore look on in bemusement at their rapid decline. The food? A culinary catastrophe. The service from ground staff and over the phone? Let’s just say it rivals the infamous experiences of easyJet and Ryanair. And don’t get me started on their prices—utterly ridiculous for planes that often seem to be older than my 28-year-old trophy girlfriend.As a gold member, I anticipated some perks, but aside from a lukewarm welcome onto each ancient aircraft, I struggle to see any real benefits. It feels more like being taken for a ride than being treated like a valued customer.If you have the luxury of choosing an alternative airline (which, regrettably, I do not), do yourself a favor and fly with Qatar, EVA, or Singapore. In comparison, Emirates is simply atrocious in every conceivable way.

Very greedy company, when you pay to get an item from them, they always think that you need to pay as well for the item to be sent !! I have chosen to pick up a small item at one of their Amazon lockers and the only available option was the fast delivery which you need to pay for it!! I can't believe that!!

I came to purchase a mattress pad, having found the one I wanted in under 4 minutes. This *should* be a simple task, as with other purchases: click to add the item to my cart, click to check out, enter my shipping and payment information, and get on with my day.43 minutes later, I finally had my order filed and my information supposedly secured. The site won't let me order without creating an account. Target has an "opt out" policy for selling my contact information, and the process to opt out is both hidden and broken. I had to call customer support to complete my order, because the "check out" sequence hangs before I can enter my shipping info.The customer support rep had barely enough English to complete my order, and I had to speak slowly to accommodate her lack of typing skills. When we got to the "opt out" sequence, she didn't understand the phrase "opt out", nor the concept of selling my information. I asked to transfer to someone with enough English. She may have tried to do so, but the call dropped soon thereafter.I did complete the opt out process via my second attempt at chatting with an on-line representative.I won't come back here; my time has value, and the cost of this mattress pad is now comparable to the price of an imported piece at the fancy continental place downtown.

I bought a teaching series, lots of videos didn't work. It seems other people have the same issue. I send an email asking for help, but received no reply, i even told them the bits i could accessed was really good, i didn't want refund. Just wanted help so that i can access the rest of the lessons. After I requested help, it send a message telling me not to repeat sending emails, otherwise they can't help me if I clogged up the system. It feels like a 'threat' that I can't complain or ask for help again. Customer service has been non existence so far.

Went to buy a gift card for my brother who is very into building his own tech... Received an unbelievable amount of pushback from AdaFruit. The "Support Team" needed me to confirm my name, email and phone number through email (which I did) in order to complete the purchase. The reason they gave for this was to "make sure it wasn't a fraudulent order". After I responded, they then proceeded to ask me for front and back photos of my credit card I used...AND proof of address "such as a utility bill, that includes your delivery address and name". Why in the world would any company need this information to sell me a gift card (which is literally just sent to your email)? Quite the invasion of privacy just to purchase a gift card, I'd pass.
