I think the operators of this site are on a power trip. My account got closed for cheating when I hadn't cheated, just got better and/or lucky over time. On appeal they told me they were standing by their decision with no justification, reasoning or evidence. Glad I didn't pay for it. Out of interest, I played a few games with an engine against their bots in the assisted mode and on several occassions it told me I had blundered or made a big mistake when I hadn't. On the guest mode, people tell the game they are a beginner when they aren't and then win in a few moves. Sad if you get a kick out of that.

Print media provide wider and more thoughtful coverage, but in a different time frame.Social media in contrast are irresponsible with little respect for truth or accuracy

Don’t give your money. If it turns out to be scam you will receive no money or even details about the scammers. They keep the percentage of the money and case is closed on their part. They even promote the project as “projects we love” so maybe they are in on it… don’t waist your money and buy a real product.

They crawl the internet to try and screw people over. Was probably my fault for not claiming a bitly link before I intended to use it, but they stole the link, claimed it and used the traffic I drove to the link for themselves, a link that was intended for my crowdfunding campaign.EDIT:Their reply below makes me think that they didn't even read my review and their answer was just generic. My grievance is real. They high jacked my crowdfunding campaign link, simply because I set it aside for future use. They have nothing to do with my company name, yet they highjacked my link, which had my company name in the link, just so that anybody wanting to click on my link and go to my crowdfunding campaign, get send to their website.

Stack overflow has been a lifesaver, the people who have answered my questions in some cases are people I would be honestly honored to meet. I consider the points on stack overflow like money, because adding bounties to questions has a tangible value. I have saved THOUSANDS of dollars for some of the responses I've received on stack overflow. Anyone hating on stack overflow is honestly just "butthurt" about their more stringent question policy. Don't get me wrong, i've been frustrated as well when some of my questions get closed, but overall, I think if you learn the platform you've determine how to effectively use it and avoid the admins who, all-in-all, improve the platform. Some questions are irrelevant, stupid, unclear, etc. and the platform maintains its usefulness by not having this. I tell all my devs to make a stack overflow account, and even have them ask questions on my behalf to get points to access new features that will help them in the long run. The utility of stack overflow is overlooked by sooo many developers. PS: I've used stack overflow for years, it is a life saver.

I have bought tickets through song kick on many occasions and it is a very easy site to use. They also email you updates as to when the tickets will be dispatched and if anything changes such as venue etc - they also email you a few days before the event just to remind you of your event. And their customer service is very quick and helpful. I have never had any issue at all using Songkick. A very friendly service - would highly recommend !

Buy cheap, buy twice, buy foreign buy thrice as my Nan used to said. Sadly true with HP printers. Broke after a few times using it and was still in warranty. The warranty is to send you a “refurbished” aka second hand printer. This to my mind is likely to be another one that has broken before and then “repaired”. No refund is provided or a new one offered, plus the warranty clock doesn’t restart for the second hand one. So that’s concerning too. Then the delivery. Not actioned as promised. Also don’t sign up to their ink scam. They cancel the cartridges they sent you once you cancel the subscription. How is that for corporate sustainability? Funny when I cancelled the subscription the printer stopped working despite new HP cartridges being installed. Avoid at all costs. Had a Canon printer before. Perfect for years until the printer cartridges stopped being sold. Basically go elsewhere for printers.
