Review of eventbrite

If I could leave ZERO stars I would!

If I could leave ZERO stars I would!I am absolutely disgusted with Eventbrite. I went to print my ticket in readiness for an event I paid for this Saturday (2 days away) only to see that Eventbrite had cancelled the event without ANY notification to those who purchased tickets 😡So I emailed the organiser to find out what’s going on and received the following reply:“Dear XXXXX, I am so pleased that you reached out to us. Eventbrite cancelled / deleted our event from their platform – see the email attached. They advised that the money was refunded to all those who bought their ticket via Eventbrite- see the email attached. Please check your bank statement. Eventbrite cancelled/removed our event from their platform without any warning. They removed all the contact details of those who purchased the tickets so we were unable to contact people like yourself to let you know what happened and that we re-lauched our event via different platform – please follow the link xxxxxxxx We posted the announcement on different FB pages and Telegram pages, FB kept taking our adds down as quickly as we were putting them up. So we are not sure how many people we were able to reach. Eventbrite cancelling/ deleting our event did not deter us- in contrary it just strengthened our resolve. Our event is still going ahead. We are sorry for any inconvenience Eventbrite caused you and other members of our beautiful community. Unfortunately, we do live in times of cancel culture and censorship and anyone who is going against mainstream narrative and/or is bringing in different views is bound to experience challenges. We would appreciate if you could share details of our event far and wide. If you have any other questions please send us an email. . We look forward to seeing you at the event this Saturday Warm Regards”I encourage a full boycott of Eventbrite. They don’t deserve your money and as a result of their actions, it’s actually resulted in the complete opposite of what they wanted. I’ve spread the word far and wide and even more people have purchased tickets than originally planned … take that Eventbrite!

Review of emirates

We recently fly back from Dubai to…

We recently fly back from Dubai to Gatwick and was so disappointed with quality of service and lack of customer service care. I flew back to uk with two kids and we were not allowed to sit with extra leg room seats even there were no one was sitting. Before I get on board I tried to book online and easy showing full flight but I found so many empty seats but was forced by cabin crew to sit back to my seats. I told cabin crew my kids are sleeping so I need only few minutes to stretch my legs but was shown no care at all. I will fly with Qatar 🇶🇦 I said bye to emirates as I don’t believe they need customers anymore. No more emirates flight for me. Full stop.

Internet could be fast...the employees are not....

Two sales reps. knock on the door and offered a better, cheaper, reliable internet service. So we signed, and set the appointment for Saturday morning. One week later they never arrived, never calls and when we call the service dept. they told us they do not have enough techs to install, so it must be moved to the end of the month. ....after one hour on the phone we just cancel it. ....Save yourself a headache they do not have enough employees to serve central Florida and that is the true as i was informed by their own people.....

Amazons reviews are selected by them

I posted a review of a delivery on Amazon and they rejected it, if they are rejecting and selecting reviews then how can their reviews be trusted??? this is the review I left on their site:-"Delivery was great but.....I know your drivers don't get paid well and work very hard for long hours under immense pressure so I wanted to give the driver a Christmas tip, which I have done before, but she left too quickly. Please return to get the tip if it is convenient."

Delivery 'pending'

The online Lego store is almost always out of stock on the best items, and if you are able to order something, delivery takes weeks, and tracking just shows 'pending' This company has serious logistics problems easily solved if they cared about their customers.Forget about ordering something for a birthday, Christmas or a special occasion.

Its being more than a month I ordered a book from them ... never received it although it was suppose to arrive between 3 to 7 days. I already bought it from amazon amd got it. There is a reason why smaller companies like them lose business to amazon ... its not for price but because sheer incompetence and horrendous customer service. Never received the book and they wouldn't refund me so I basically lost 50$.

Review of domestika

Good platform but dishonest sales…

Good platform but dishonest sales tactics. I bought a single course for only $1. Apparently the fine print stated (in Spanish) that my purchase initiated a 1-month trial of their unlimited membership for 12 months, which had a cost of USD90. As soon as I saw the charge on my credit card, I tried to contact Domestika several times but have received no response to date. They have zero customer support. Clearly, it was a marketing trap deliberately set up by their sales team. I feel tricked!

Good content but rather expensive

Good content, but it's on the expensive side. Having quite a substantial subscription only gives you a little discount on assets, which is not so clear about costs in the end.

Review of CNN

Losing your audience

Enlighten yourselves… you have lost a great many of your audience. You won’t call out Project 2025, Trump’s tireless litany of lies, his mental instability and the danger of our future in the hands of a felon, a rapist, an insurrectionist and a con-man who hides classified documents and smoozes with our enemies. I don’t have the stomach to watch what once was a respected news source any longer.

Review of BBC

Defund the BBC

Biased, bigoted and dumbed down. Can’t bear to watch or listen any more. Not to mention the totally unjustified salaries paid to the high priests and priestesses of woke who should be keeping their opinions to themselves and reporting all the facts, not just the convenient ones that fit the narrative.

Review of BBC

Imagine you had to pay a yearly fee in…

Imagine you had to pay a yearly fee in order to read books you already owned, or listening to a Muse album online meant you were obliged to fund someone else's podcast. Now imagine that this money was being redirected to a propaganda outlet whose content was aimed at reinforcing how stupid, uncultured, and bigoted you are. This would clearly not be considered acceptable, which is why it's so utterly dispicable that - despite being in direct breach of its own royal charter mandate for fair, accurated, and objective programming that reflects the audience as best as possible - the BBC is subsidised by the state-enforced license fee tax to produce postmodernist drivel and demonstrably fake news that is clearly not in the interests of the viewer, nor are the opinions shared by anyone outside of fringe lunatics and the more gullible and impressionable members of the middle class. In the last few months alone, we have seen a barrage of anti-white content capped recently by a 'comedian' on Frankie Boyle's show stating that black people want white people dead. This is both horrifically racist towards whites, and is also more subtly racist towards blacks by infering that they all have one single, hate-based agenda with no agency or diversity. The BBC refused to apologise for this. This is all following the BLM farce in which the BBC was worse than just about every other outlet in terms of how it incorrectly portrayed police brutality in the US as a race issue and ignored the backgrounds and behaviours of the 'victims' who in every case were resisting arrest after committing crimes themselves. This has directly led to murders and riots which the left has disgustingly blamed on the right, and in particular Donald Trump who the BBC decided very early in his presidential campaign was beyond the pale and have gone to insane lengths to discredit at every turn whilst his policies have consistently been proven correct. And let's not forget the fact that the BBC was the biggest antagoniser in the Dominic Cummings controversy during the COVID lockdown, yet they had absolutley nothing to say condemning BLM and Antifa rioting in that same time period despite the BBC also pushing the questionable - and semi-illogical - idea that COVID-19 disproportionately affected the very same BAME communities that were out 'protesting' something that happened thousands of miles away on another continent. Let's not even get into the Last Night of the Proms/Rule Brittania dispute, other than to say the BBC picked the wrong side and for once actually realised this and changed course to control the damage more than out of any actual remorse or regret. This is why license fee subscriptions have plummeted by a quarter of a million in the last 12 months. Even if the BBC's output was good, instead of a bunch of overpaid liberals churning out pandering rubbish while the only sport they're prepared to pay for is niche events nobody wants to watch - it would be an extremely outdated model in the newer subscription age. It's even more revolting that we are expected to pay for it even if we don't watch any BBC programming but watch other channels, which we are in many cases (e.g. Sky, BT etc) already paying a not insignificant amount for. The BBC has been complacent for too long, knowing that they will not have to face repurcussions for alienating its audience. It needs to stand on its own two feet, and only then will we see if it's anywhere near as popular as it claims to be. We all know it won't be.

Review of BBC

Change it back please!

Please let me go back to previous version, which was clear and easy to navigate. Very annoying to suddenly be forced to change the way I like to look at things with no notice and no options to personalise the way it looks. Rubbish! This new version is very annoying, too much empty space and too much scrolling to find anything I might be remotely interested in. Bad move BBC. At least I can uninstall and free up some space on my phone.Update - gave it a couple of weeks in case the BBC actually paid attention to what people are saying - the update is almost universally hated BBC!!! Really had hoped it would be changed back as I've found the new style very annoying, frustrating and irritating to use. But alas it seems they are not interested in their customers opinions so have just uninstalled. Feeling sad and let down

The tool for common app run on other IOS

When buying a Mac after so many years almost exclusively, it is a good tool to make a slow transition, being possible to still work on purchased app for other OS computers, until you are completely confident in the new environment.

Shugborough. A lovely property

Shugborough in Staffordshire is a wonderful place to visit. Lovely parkland and walks. Scenic and lots of interesting features. However we today purchased sandwiches which were quite expensive but we were hungry. The sandwiches were totally bland and tasteless. Very disappointed. The package stated they were made elsewhere not at Shugborough. The cheese ploughman’s cheddar was awful, Plastic cheese and tasteless chutney. Sorry but the supplier of these sandwiches should be ashamed

Review of coinbase

It's more a gimmick than anything now

Customer for 5 years and I'm zeroing out and closing my account. Coinbase has become to egocentric for its own good and no longer has any interest in serving basic customers. They want to see your bank account now just to let you trade at any real level (you used to have $1000 on debit available they changed it $44 with 0 notice and then asked me to allow access to my checking account to confirm my income). They are one of the last to offer new coins until usually months after they're released. It's a gimmick now just playing on the ignorance of new investors while bleeding you through fees and archaic rules that exclude you and favor the more elite customers.
