Review of costco

Rude Employees

There were two of us checking out at the register and we are both members. The cashier rudely told us we had to take all the items out of the boxes we had them in. Not a big deal by itself. We also wanted to pay separately. I had my membership card with me, but my friend did not have his card with him. He was told he couldn't pay! I had to pay for both orders! The supervisor told us it was a new corporate policy. I later spoke to the front end manager who told me that the cashier could have simply confirmed his membership. What a jerk of a cashier that Cosco has hired. I refuse to be treated like that by any company employee. I called the local warehouse to cancel our memberships but was told I had to come in. Yet another inconvenience! If Costco has employees like this, I want no part of their business and I will be cancelling the membership to make a point to their corporate office.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I hadn’t used their payment processor since January of 2024. I continued to pay their small fee which was ok with me. When I closed my business in January of 2025 I switched to their free services. Even though I haven’t used their services in over a year they required me to do PCI compliance which is a confusing and difficult process. Since I was out of business I was under the assumption I didn’t need to verify PCI. Fast forward to today and they sent a bill to collections for $350. No phone calls, no emails, no nothing informing me of these charges. NEVER use their services if you’re a business owner. Their fees and customer service are terrible and they will screw you anyway they can. Go use square.

Review of ubisoft

102 days and counting for a refund...

So far 102 days and counting trying to simply return a game/get a refund (Valhalla, unopened). No response for weeks at a time on my support case. Slowest customer support I've ever dealt with, avoid purchasing anything physical from Ubisoft because if you have any issues you'll never get them resolved! They use UPS which is also a poor service, my return went round the UK for 7 weeks and was delivered back to me without explanation. I can return something in 24 hours with Amazon so why is this so hard? The feeling is that Ubisoft and the support just don't care about customers or reputation post sales.

Genuine review. Wanted to query a purchase as they were offering an add on with season pass for 1p more which obviously I would have purchased had I known. 91 people in chat queue, waited 1 hour. Gave all details to agent including screenshots etc. Cut me off at the end. Then got an email with refund policy saying they couldnt help. Didnt send survey as the person clearly knew they cut me off. AVOID

Frustrating Access

On reviewing New Scientist reputation on Trustpilot I believe you have purposely made it difficult to unsubscribe. Signing into the account is easy, but it seems we have to sign into the same account again when we need to “easily” manage our subscriptions.I could not cancel my subscription because I could not access my account a second time to do it myself - due to a constant message that my email does not match my subscription number, the same subscription number that could only be accessed by signing into my account for a third time. Unbelievably frustrating. This is such a disappointment for a magazine that I highly regard. Your subscription cancellation process is infuriating.

Honestly, I think Jeff Bezos should re think on outsourcing on delivering orders in INDIA, esp, ATS(Amazon Trust Services) because, its only breaching a would have been loyal customer's trust. I had ordered a book on 8th of December by AMAZON PRIME DELIVERY, and didnot know that what would be a nightmare. ORDER # 406-5464434-3657121Shipment details-- Package received by courier Mumbai, INCourier: Amazon Transportation Services, Tracking #: 184104312334-- Possible delay in delivery due to arrival at incorrect courier facility Mumbai, IN-- Delay Delivery on customer request Mumbai, INFriday, 9 Dec7:50 PM Additional address details required MUMBAI, IN9:56 AM Out for delivery Mumbai, IN7:57 AM Package arrived at a courier facility Mumbai, IN2:32 AM Package has left the courier facility BHIWANDI, MAHARASHTRA, INThursday, 8 Dec10:01 PM Package arrived at a courier facility BHIWANDI, MAHARASHTRA, INI must have spoken to atleast 10 ppl , 2 supervisers, numerous fake promises that something was indeed done about my order. so the story starts here, my order was supposed to be delivered on 9th of Deecember EOD, I waited in my office till 9.30 pm only to get an automated msg that "This is to inform you that Amazon Transportation Services has expressed inability to locate your address. We request you to contact us with the necessary changes and/or additions to the address, including significant landmarks which may help the courier to locate your address. "Why the hell was I not called by the delivery guy to explain the delivery address where as the address itself is a landmark, top of that the delivery guy did not even bother to answer the calls I made .Isnt the Ecomm company responsible to atleast notify the customer about the goof up they have made. The worst is that you ppl don't even realise that you are giving the same blunder to every random customer. " thatt the parcel was handed to an incorrect courier company". Today when I called to check the where about of my order I was asked to wait another 2-3 business days to get my order, my question is why the hell should I, isnt this a ATS that my order would be delivered in 24 hours??? The worst is when i asked what if you still fail to deliver it, the answer was hilarious: " Ma'am then we would cancel your order"!!!LOL. As if you have already refunded me for the previous order that you guys, goofed up with. huhhTo cut the short and not further make it more harrowing experience for myself, I just demand my parcel to be delivered by EOD, if you guys really care about your customers. And yes, thanks for ruining my birthday and persuading me NEVER EVER TO ORDER FROM AMAZON!!!!!!Yours sincerely a very unhappy customer.

THIEVES

Absolute complete and utter thieves. Admitted to a host of charges on my account being fraudulent, after SIX WEEKS of me fighting for them to look into it and having to hunt down the evidence myself!!! Allowed these fraudulent charges to be made using ONLY MY PHONE NUMBER! Which is disgusting in the first event, but after finally telling me they'd refunded me on 13th may I've now had to fight every day since to speak to anyone as that refund magically hasn't appeared in my account! I have emailed multiple times a day, requested callbacks every day which are always refused, spoken to a totally different " customer service " rep every day all of which say they will sort it to get me off the chat then do nothing, and now I've had to email the CEO!! How can such a huge global company get away with such shoddy customer service and such a lack of fraud prevention! It's a complete disgrace!

I love that i can purchase DRM free…

I love that i can purchase DRM free versions of both games that i love and some i didn't get the chance to play, I think so far GOG has been well worth supporting and hope they continue to be well into the future, also appreciate the every once in a while free stuff, would love to see free games more often
