Review of homeadvisor
I used Home Advisor once before and I knew that searching for a Lawn Service that I wouldn't have any trouble finding what I needed. I found Fred's Lawn Service right away on Angi's List. I left my info and was contacted by Fred the next day. Thank You

I experienced a technical handshaking problem concerning how emailing was happening between my web hosting service (Bluehost) and my web building service (WordPress) and my WPForms emailing plugin. The 5-Star timely Technical Support I received from WPForms was able to seamlessly transverse all third party platforms/systems/interfaces to effectively resolve my emailing issue without trying to pass me and my problem off as "not their problem". Remarkably, this is the first time I have ever experienced this attitude and commitment to providing customer support from any company I have dealt with to-date. Let the world know WPForms has become a world leader in customer support.

Awful poor company, I usually sell and occasionally buys. I bought some shoes from a seller and the seller shipped the shoes. I didn’t know UPS would transfer the package to the post office for final delivery. The item was said to be delivered and scanned but I never even received it. I contacted the support which is so bad, they showed no compassion at all more like robots. They repeat the same thing telling me to reach out to the carrier and provider which I did and was told to reach back out to customer service. They just gave me the run around. If it was a cheap item I wouldn’t have a problem but the item was $263 after all the ridiculous fees. I will be disputing the charge with my bank and removing this awful app.
Review of mercari
I was a seller on Mercari & sold a few PCs & pc hardware items such as SSDs & memory on the website. This past August I sold a Dell Laptop on their website a buyer purchased the laptop, shipped the item with their label & buyer received it also rated the transaction. The laptop was sold for around $130 & Mercari flagged my account so I wouldn't be allowed to move the money to my personal bank account. I've emailed Mercari over a dozen times since that's the only form of communication Mercari has trying to get my account back from limited status in order to move the money made from the transaction. There's no customer service number to call or speak to someone in regards to resolving this error on their behalf. FYI: never had an issue with them until now & their not moving fast enough to resolve this issue. Also the money made off the last transaction is just sitting there and cannot be transferred to my bank account until the limited access is resolved. I would advise anybody selling/buying to don't use their service at all & to stay away from Mercari at all cost. They are not proactive enough for seller's/buyer's.

What an absolute let down of a company we all “know”, clearly they are using our money to spend on their advertising because I’m not here to say they were helpful or amazing - they did quite the opposite - ignore their policy’s because the hotel on their website has their own policy’s (which were also changed to what the website say!) and they need to abide by them - but they don’t tell you that until you loose your money, not only the deposit or a percentage but all of it! And this is AFTER you inform them you need to cancel and they promise you the sun moon and earth but then proceed to allow the hotel to clear you out of 6 grand and then shake their hands of you. one person says “no this shouldn’t happen” but then won’t respond to emails another says “it’s between you and the hotel” then the hotel says “it’s nothing to do with us you didn’t book direct”3weeks now we have been fighting to get our money back, money that was taken AFTER we cancelled our hotel

Absolutely appalling customer service from Amazon UK. This is a perfect example of how large companies deliberately frustrate customers to avoid solving problems. The Timeline: • Ordered two items with Prime delivery • Both packages delivered to wrong addresses • Called customer service - told to “wait until June 12th” • Waited as instructed, contacted them on June 12th • Now told to wait ANOTHER 72 hoursThe Pattern:This is clearly a deliberate strategy to wear customers down until they give up. Every time I follow their instructions exactly, they move the goalposts and ask me to wait longer. No attempt to actually solve the problem - just endless delays. What I’m Paying For vs What I Get: • Paying for Prime delivery service • Packages delivered to wrong addresses • Customer service that refuses to help • Endless runaround instead of solutionsThe Bigger Issue:This isn’t just about my packages - it’s about Amazon’s systematic approach to avoid responsibility. They know most customers will eventually give up rather than keep fighting. It’s a calculated business decision to provide poor service because they can get away with it.My Advice: • Screenshot everything • Document all calls/chats • Dispute charges with your credit card company immediately • Don’t let them wear you down with endless delaysAmazon UK clearly doesn’t value its customers. The size of the company means they think they can treat people however they want. Considering switching to competitors who actually care about customer service.Update: After posting this review, still no resolution. Will be filing complaints with Trading Standards.Date: June 12, 2025Order numbers : 203-3605293-0092322 & 203-0744061-8632305

Review of thumbtack
Thumbtack contractors are awful. I've had $1600, $900, $375,$300 and $400 stolen. Literally deposits given and no work or showing up. The contractors lie and don't do the work. . I also had major tools stolen from my garage. The himbtack does nothing to check them out or report their theft. NEVER use this app or the people they send.

This bunch have been taking money from my account with no emails notifying me. They do send notifications for 3 and 12 months subscriptions apparently though. Seems like they like to trick people hoping they do not notice the money being taken when paying monthly. I do not care what their policies are, I am more concerned with laws pertaining to these sorts of practices
