I posted an innocent post on the hand maids tale. A woman came back, mouthing off telling me how lucky I am not being stoned etc. Then proceeded to swear at me.I replied would she not swear, as my post was simple, she says oh it’s all about you! Which I was flummoxed at and I said she was mouthy, guess who got a ban? Not her. Facebook are absolute w@nkers
Review of mailchimp
I started using this software today circa 10am to send to opted in contacts of ours with a link to our website and a normal business message. I wanted to send to circa just under 250 people. I received a message from compliance saying there was a critical violation. This is ridiculous. Contacted compliance via email at circa midday. Nothin back yet. I am running a business not a scammers company. I am concerned that I have given Mailchimp money for no service whatsoever. I customer onboarding contact Jennifer Lopes stated "I hope all is well with you. I am reaching out regarding the compliance issue that was triggered for your account. I am extremely limited in what I can do, as it relates to compliance, So I wanted to make sure you received the email from our Compliance team in case there were any questions related to this issue. Please respond to the action items in the email you received from our Compliance team or contact compliance@ for more information and next steps to resolve issues in your account. Please note: Our Compliance team only works via email, so they will not be able to contact you by phone or video call. "Well we still have not received anything from the Compliance department at all.USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL. Another IT software company that has gone downhill. Sold for $12bn to Intuit and I see from all the reviews 80% of the reviews are 1 star - that appalling. Avoid - I signed up to a premium account and feel I have been conned.

I stayed in HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS, BIRMINGHAM STAR CITY, NECHELLS between 16-19 Jan. I provided a license number for parking registration between 16-19 Jan when check-in at front desk on 16 Jan. Front desk confirmed with me the parking registration has been done and told me that nothing to follow up during my stay in Holiday Inn Express Birmingham Star City. As it is required to pay a parking fee in other IHG hotels, so I double checked with front desk if there is any other registration need to do during my stay between 16-19 Jan and the answer was “the parking registration is completed and it is free to parking between 16-19 Jan” again. However, an agency ParkingEye charged my credit card 2 times for illegal parking in HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS, BIRMINGHAM STAR CITY on 17 Jan, total charge GBP 35x2=70.I approached IHG to solve the case since Jan but I did not receive any follow up. 6 months passed and HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS, BIRMINGHAM STAR CITY Mr. Aaron finally replied they have cancelled the illegal parking charge and asked me to contact ParkingEye for refund. It is ridiculous for a multinational hotel to behave in this way. IHG created a mistake without apology and even asked customer to follow up the refund with its contractor by himself !Will not consider HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS, BIRMINGHAM STAR CITY anymore with such POOR customer service!

I have just perused my newly purchased LP Cuba & Jamaica guides. What a complete waste of time, effort and money! Gone are the practical suggestions of places to base yourself for exploring, eateries, bars etc, replaced by generic gushing over major sights which might easily have been drawn from any number of tourist brochures. I have previously been a devoted LP buyer and user. I have quite a nice collection of them from many trips over the years. Nowhere in these book is there any practical information as per earlier publications. Accommodation is reduced to a single page of "throw away" commentary about different types of accommodation...as if the reader had not ascertained this from even the most basic research. Where is the information about eateries tried and reviewed by the writers? Non-existent. Where are the suggested "highlights" itineraries as per other publications? totally absent. In short, this is little more than I had already found out through rudimentary internet searches. Foolishly, I had believed that LP was a quality brand that would maintain its standard. Wrong. I mistakenly purchased two "Guides" at the same time. I am kicking myself now but pleased that both were on special price offer. However, even at a substantial discount, they aren't worth the money or the time to read over them in detail. A little time spent reading over blogs and websites will give anyone about the same level of information that these inappropriately named "Guides" will do. They are no longer guides, rather they are glossy tourist brochures with lots of 'filler' describing "essential experiences". Nothing like the old reliable LP quality. Do yourself a favour and look out old format guides from the local library rather than spend money on trumped-up travel brochures.
