Review of LinkedIn
LinkedIn job postings are a complete rip off, and their AI support is a nightmare. They first overcharged my budget by three times what I set. The AI bots pretending to be humans, using recycled and annoying scripts, told me that indeed LinkedIn "can charge more than your set budget", without your permission in the event that your posting becomes popular. What?! They did agree to refund after much frustration and an hour long chat conversation with AI that went round and round. The bots escalated after many requests, to "superiors" who then emailed a day later to tell me they would refund and they did. I would not have written a review had that been the end of it, however I gave it another try, watching the budget closely this time with a smaller budget that was supposed to last one week. The budget was blown in 3 days, with daily maximum well exceeded each day, and resulted in FOUR leads, of which only ONE was not spam. (One was not even in the US with zero info, and other two didn't meet the very basic criteria of same city, bachelor's degree, speak English. These are bare minimum requirements for a professional opportunity.) How are these crooks getting away with this? I will never make the mistake again of trusting LinkedIn. Something is seriously broken.
