Dunces

Dunces, I used to like VICE but it’s quite apparent they’re a bunch of pretentious, leftist pansies. Making numerous reports trying to go against Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter just shows how stupid they are. They don’t like free speech and would rather live in a communist run world. Morons.

Review of squareup

Absolutely the worst experience I've…

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a payment processor.I signed up for Square to accept ACH payments from a customer. The platform let me create and send the invoice, and the customer submitted payment. Several days later, Square deactivated my account without any explanation. At first, they claimed the funds were never withdrawn — but days later, I received notice that the money was taken from my customer's account.Since then, I’ve been caught in a nightmare of customer support loops. I can’t issue a refund through the dashboard because my account is deactivated. Support repeatedly told me it was “being escalated” and that the funds would be returned to the customer in 2 business days — it's been over a week and nothing has happened. Every time I reach out, I’m transferred from one rep to another, and no one can provide a resolution or even basic follow-up.This company is clearly not equipped to handle legitimate business needs, especially when large amounts of money are involved. Absolutely unacceptable. I would strongly advise other small businesses to stay far away from Square.

At one time I would have given Kayak

At one time I would have given Kayak a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5. But recently the site keeps telling me I’m a bot and prevents me from searching. That’s some pretty weird stuff guys!

Review of scribd

Liars. Limit what you can access after just 1 book.

They seem to advertise unlimited audiobooks, but after I listen to 1 my options go down and the more I listen the less options I have. After listening to just 1 audiobook if I go to search for another audiobook it tells me that the title will be available next month conveniently around the time my subscription renews. However if you save a lot of audiobooks to your saved lists you will be able to listen to these at least. I did test it once and when I removed an audiobook from my saved list it immediately switched over and told me I had to wait until next month to listen to it even though if I would have kept it on my saved list I could have been able to listen to it. So what I have done is just save a ton of audiobooks so that I know I will at least have some to listen to but if I come across another one I want to listen to that is not on my saved list I have to wait until the following month to listen to it. At this point I might as well just use my library for free. I don’t see a point a paying for this service since they lied and claimed unlimited audiobooks but really it’s basically like audible and you only get to listen to 1 audiobook a month but still worse than audible because you don’t even get to keep the audiobook. I don’t recommend this service and I suggest that they change their marketing to not imply unlimited audiobooks a month when like I have said numerous times it’s basically 1 audiobook per pay cycle.

They keep stealing money off my card

I don’t even use microsoft and they keep stealing $29 off my card every now and then. I already reported this thieving company to the Better Business Bureau and they still keep doing it. Scumbags!

Last year I bought LP Tanzania and was so surprised and disappointed over the lack of information, but I hoped this was a stand-alone poor guidebook. This year I bought LP Belize and a LP Guatemala, same problem. From the other bad reviews, I read that LP changed its approach entirely, what a loss! Totally useless, it looks like they are targetting tourists in organized group travel, instead of independent travellers.Has this company been sold or what??No more Lonely Planet for me, unfortunately. Maybe Bradt next time.

Horrible mouse that double clicks..

Horrible mouse that double clicks... Highly inept staff just want to send you in circles. Extremely poor quality control.I'd say even Wish products have better quality control (and that's saying something). I guess that's what happens when Logitech only wants to employ the hopeless type they employ.

If I could rate less I would

If I could rate less I would. Dell used to be a fabulous brand. I defected to Apple then decided to go back BIG MISTAKE. I will spare all the boring details and say the following - no-one will help you with your problem, no/one will take ownership of the problem, if you ring customer support to go through the problem for the x time they will cut you off and quite frankly they don’t give a cr*p, they just say blah blah we empathise, we understand your frustration blah blah and nothing - literally if you have a problem you are doomed - if only I had looked at the reviews !
