Review of eventbrite
Eventbrite is a bunch of con artists. I purchased tickets for an event in early March. Covid postponed the event, then moved it to late November. The organizer went out of business late March, we were never notified of this despite the rescheduled date. When we found out the event was ultimately cancelled, by word of mouth, I contacted these grifters and was told that I need to contact the organizer and there was nothing they would do. Well guess what chumly the organizer is no longer in business.Today I find out that they have a form to fill out requesting a refund, but the criteria in order to qualify for the refund is next to impossible to get one. I filled it out only to find out that I will hear back from them in EIGHT weeks. I know exactly what is going to happen in eight weeks, these douchebags will say sorry you don't qualify. They are not going to pay up, they did the form just to appease the court with all of the lawsuits against these scumbags.

I attempted to buy Adobe software during a limited time offer on Amazon (£378.99). My payment was authorised by my bank, but Amazon’s system flagged the order and blocked it. I followed all instructions from customer service and tried again multiple times. None of the orders completed, and I received no product. After more than a week of being passed between agents and promised escalations, I was told that Amazon would not honour the original price, even though their own system prevented me from completing the purchase. They have tried to label this as a "price match" issue, which completely misses the point. I was not trying to get a discount after the fact. I was trying to complete a valid transaction during the offer period and was blocked by Amazon’s systems. This was a hugely frustrating experience. It was a disappointing customer journey from a company that claims to be customer obsessed.
Review of ahrefs
Ahrefs I've compared with some other SEO tools. Yes, Ahrefs is very extensive. But the keyword difficulty is not accurate. For many and many keywords he indicates that it is easy to rank in the top 10. But I'm 1000% sure it isn't. And also other tools showed me that I was right. So the keyword tool is far from accurate.I also discovered that the volume isn't accurateThe keywords aren't much special, either. For certain keywords I don't get any suggestions, while other tools indicate a lot of ideas.I had a trial account of 7 days. For me at day 1 everything was clear. I requested a refund of 6 days, but that wasn't possible.Ahrefs is really overpriced.
Review of ahrefs
Still a good tool, but their new pricing plan has made it so a lot of things are unavailable for small companies. They lure you into this plan and don't think they were very upfront about what they offered. Feels rather disingenuous. I'll probably be looking for a better and more affordable SEO tool

I decided to ask the ICO to step in and have Tesco Bank ( another useless bunch ) to correct the incorrect info they have put on my credit report , might as well have chucked the letter in the bin , I did my research and knew exactly what the ICO would need , I enclosed a copy of the report showing thier entry and a copy of the various letters I sent to Tesco Bank , and duly posted it off via recorded delivery , THREE MONTHS LATER ! I get a letter saying they need more info ! They wanted the two pieces of paper I had already enclosed and sent them , further more , thier time limit to look at a complaint is 3 months from the last contact with the creditor and considering Tesco Bank have NEVER responded AND it took the ICO 3 months to ask for the info they already have , what a load of crap, yet another , completely useless bunch of highly paid civil servants , they’re supposed to be there to protect the little guy from being ran all over by the big boys !Rubbish , useless toothless uninterested bunch of numnuts, no doubt sitting there drinking coffee and scratching their bums wondering what to do to get the day in , seriously , if you decide to waste your time and money asking these fools for help , be prepared to be bitterly disappointed, cause that’s exactly what will happen , they do nothing except fire out automated responses which , in my humble opinion , are just to blow you off so you’ll go away and they can then do what they do best , ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ,

Review of drupal
I've been using Drupal to build sites for clients for years, and it's still one of my favourite tools. While it's definitely not the right tool for all types of websites, it is incredibly flexible so it is suitable for most. It's incredibly secure and well-structured compared to alternatives like WordPress. More recently, its focus on being a backend data source for JS-based frontends will ensure it stays relevant for years to come.
Review of CNN
CNN, once a stalwart of journalistic integrity, has become a source of frustration for many viewers seeking unbiased news coverage. The network seems to have shifted away from its foundational principles, instead opting to serve as a mouthpiece for one political party, particularly when it comes to coverage of Donald Trump and the Republican Party as a whole. As someone who has never voted for President Trump and does not plan to in the upcoming election, I find it particularly troubling that CNN's reporting has devolved into a platform characterized by partisanship. Just because I do not support Trump does not mean I endorse the current administration or will vote for Kamala Harris. What I desire is integrity in journalism, not a cycle of left-wing pundits trying to remove critical thinking and pretend they know more than everyone else. What is particularly disheartening is the apparent lack of objectivity in their reporting. Rather than presenting facts and allowing viewers to draw their own conclusions, CNN often resorts to subjective interpretations, labeling opposing viewpoints as misleading or false without engaging in meaningful discourse. This approach not only undermines the credibility of the network but also contributes to a polarized media landscape that is detrimental to informed public discussion. The constant barrage of negative coverage targeting Trump and the Republican Party raises questions about the motivations behind CNN's reporting. It feels as though the network is more invested in shaping narratives than in providing balanced news. This departure from true journalism is alarming and contributes to the growing distrust in media institutions. The way figures like Van Jones frequently lecture viewers on their perceived superiority, telling people not to fall for the "lies," exemplifies how far removed CNN has become from objective journalism. That kind of commentary is not subjective journalism; it’s a performance that detracts from the news.As a viewer, it is disheartening to witness the decline of a once-respected news outlet. The current environment, where sensationalism seems to trump factual reporting, is a threat to the very foundation of democracy. Genuine journalism should challenge power, represent diverse perspectives, and foster informed dialogue, but CNN appears to have lost sight of these ideals. In conclusion, CNN's transformation into a platform that prioritizes partisan commentary over objective reporting is a disservice to its audience and to the principles of journalism. For those seeking reliable news, it’s hard to overlook the disappointment that CNN has become.

I purchased a refurbished MacBook M3 2024 from Geek Squad, fully aware of the potential risks with refurbished items, but what I received was far worse. They sent me a MacBook with completely different specifications—a 2022 M2 model with a mismatched serial number.I returned the item immediately and requested a refund, but all I received in return were excuses and dismissive customer service. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was met with unprofessionalism, rudeness, and zero accountability. It’s clear they don’t care about their customers—just about taking your money. This company is a complete nightmare. Avoid Geek Squad at all costs unless you’re ready to waste your time, money, and patience. I am already in the process of reporting them to the relevant authorities to hold them accountable for their dishonest practices.

Review of americanexpress
American Express Travel advertised Four Seasons Hotel in Houston with a complimentary third night with a minimum stay of three nights. I have confirmed with four agents (Ranchael, Earl) that my dates are eligible, and somehow, the system did not apply the promotion. Amex Travel's system does the promo in a very unique and convoluted way. The discount is reflected in a lower nightly rate, often shown as the regular rate is crossed out, and the new rate would reflect the "free night” but it was NOT applied. I spent 2 hours explaining the error and finally got them to admit that it was an error, but they were ineffective in providing an error resolution. This leads to unjust enrichment for Amex Travel. I suspect many consumers are conned into believing they are getting a discount. Based on the above, I have urged CFPB to look into these incidents. I have screenshots of everything. Amex would have gotten millions of dollars via this type of false advertising. Calling their 800 number is a waste of time. Spoke to 6 agents and had cases open all gave me the run around and different excuse with no proper solution. If they can treat a Platinum member of 15 years like this, imagine what they’d do to a new member. STAY AWAY and don’t fall victim.

They are just a scam of a business, they say you only have to pay 44 for their subscription which is just BS! And don't even get me started with their "financial aid" which is just an absolute lie, in the end you will just be wasting your time and money! You are better off using that money on other platforms.
Review of abebooks
I gave this business a 2/5 because I spent a total of around $1,000 for books for Christmas and most of the orders went without a hitch. I had a problem with 2 sellers who sent me used books instead of new books. The books that I ordered were pretty expensive for paperback books because of limited printing ($67.00 and $48.00) which I was willing to pay as a Christmas gift. The nightmare began when both sellers kept telling me that a new copy was coming into their warehouses (yes, they were two different sellers in two different states but their emails could have been interchanged.) I tried to work with them each for about a month. I finally gave them a date that I needed a trackable number by and, when I didn't get it, I applied for a return/refund. That's when the real nightmare began. I finally got return labels from both and returned the books, expecting to see my refund as soon as they were delivered. It really isn't acceptable that I was the only one with anything at risk. They now had my money and I had no book. Then, it turns out that one of the sellers put the wrong address on the return label. How is that even possible? This book was then returned to me. I opened a dispute with American Express. While they were in the process of investigating it, I received the returned book back. I researched the address and discovered that the seller had neglected to put an apartment number on it. For 2 weeks, I asked for a return label with the apartment number because I wanted my money and didn't want the book. On December 4 (the original order was placed October 17, 2021), I finally got my money back from that one ($67 + shipping). I also just received the corrected return label from the first seller this morning (December 6). The seller of the second book received his book back November 27. On Friday, December 3, I wrote to Abe Books customer support asking where my refund was. I received an email this morning (December 6) asking me for the tracking number so that they could verify that the book was returned. Are you kidding me? This information was all in the information that I had to fill out for the return/refund, They were too lazy or stupid to even look at the information they required from me. I have told them that they have until Wednesday, December 8, 2021 to credit my American Express account or I will be opening a dispute with AmEx. Quite simply, dealing with this company is not worth it. I thought since they were now owned by Amazon, the customer service would be comparable. IT IS NOT! Alibris is another good source for books and I have never had a problem with them. I am an avid reader and still like the feel of turning the pages, so a good bookseller is important to me. I will avoid Abe Books religiously, however, because the problems are simply not worth it.
