Review of emirates

Horrible experience

I wish to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience on Emirates Flight EK2185, scheduled for August 6th, 2023, from Dubai to Catania. The flight was canceled less than 24 hours in advance, which severely impacted my long-haul trip. This trip was booked through the Emirates website and was disrupted just hours before its departure due to the cited 'unforeseen circumstances,' namely a fire incident at Catania Airport, which had occurred three weeks prior.Being an aware passenger, I was cognizant of the previous flight cancellations to Catania and the airport's incapacity to handle extra-Schengen flights. Consequently, I had been diligently monitoring the situation, investing significant time and financial resources from a remote location in South Africa to stay updated and explore alternative travel options in case of an eventual cancellation. My distressing experience began when I found myself caught in a bureaucratic game of ping-pong between Emirates and Flydubai, the airline operating the flight. Both carriers appeared to evade responsibility and failed to offer me any practical alternative plans. The cancellation notification reached me while I was en route to the airport, necessitating an unscheduled stop in an area with phone reception to contact the Emirates call center, as per Flydubai's app recommendation. To my dismay, I spent over 30 minutes on the phone only to discover that Emirates was not presenting any viable options for reaching my final destination. Furthermore, their communication regarding alternative flights from Dubai to Italy was initially unclear—mentioning Rome or Milan—and later, limited to Naples, with no apparent connection to Catania. It was only after a protracted discussion that the call-center operator finally intervened, reconfiguring my entire reservation to a flight bound for Milan, just an hour before my scheduled check-in at Skukuza. This change, which was seemingly necessitated by Emirates' arcane policies, left me in Dubai without compensation for the additional time spent there. I was accommodated in a shared room with no meals, a circumstance that I managed to secure solely because my partner already had a reservation for a Dubai Connect service. Following the call-center operator's instructions, I had to personally book a new flight from Milan to Catania, incurring additional expenses. The overwhelming stress and uncertainty surrounding this ordeal marred a significant portion of my holiday experience. Furthermore, it resulted in illness, causing me to miss an essential medical appointment scheduled in Catania on August 7th. This entire episode proved to be nightmarish and deeply disappointing, an outcome I never anticipated from a company of Emirates' stature.I respectfully requested that Emirates recognized the hardships I endured during this journey, including the extra costs incurred due to the days of delay and the missed medical appointment. However, they just said they could do nothing...Maria (Nick's partner)

Review of ea

The EA app is disappointing

I've always known EA was a money hungry company, but it never bothered me much. However, their replacement of Origin with the EA app was an awful move. The EA app is incredibly buggy and some people have trouble logging in. When I tried to play the Sims 4 without WiFi, because it is a game you can play offline, the EA app insisted that I logged in beforehand to activate offline play...which is impossible to do without WiFi. Additionally, there are certain features missing from the EA app that were on origin; such as the gifting feature. I used this often to buy games for my friends. Overall, I am very frustrated with the EA app and cannot understand why they switched from Origin.

Extremely biased

Extremely biased. Their main focus is to stay relevant, and not to spread truthful important information and news. For example in the newest interview with Andrew Tate (1/6-23). If you watch the full unreleased interview, you can see that the focus points of the article, is clearly taken out of context. The interviewer and author of the article Lucy Williams, had done zero search criticism or research on the topics she brought up in the interview. She was not capable of citing any of the quotes she had on Andrew, and the few ones she could cite, was taken completely out of context.

Review of adidas

CAN'T DELIVER - BUT I CAN'T GET A REFUND

Last Sunday, we ordered shoes for same day pickup @Adidas Culver City store. I called twice to confirm they had the shoe before placing the order and confirmed they had the shoe. The representative at the store even walked me through the process. As of today, NO SHOES!This is a really big deal because my daughter has been subjected to bullying at school for several years. We don't have a lot of money, so her shoes and clothes aren't usually the greatest, and the kids call her Dirty Girl. I finally was able to get her into a new school so she could start fresh without the Dirty Girl image following her.My daughter is panicked and keeps saying she wants to kill herself. School starts Monday, and we don't have the shoes even though my receipt says we will get the shoes AUGUST 13TH. I explained this to the online and in store representatives, and all I get is I'm sorry we don't have any information, BUT they won't refund the money so I can buy her shoes somewhere else. When I called customer service to try to fix this, they had no empathy, so I did use some bad words, may 4. Now they are saying I am in violation! MY DAUGHTER IS HAVING A PANIC ATTACK AND SUICIDAL because they failed, and I'm unreasonable.

Review of hootsuite

I politely asked for a pro-rated refund…

I politely asked for a pro-rated refund for 4 months, after I have been a loyal customer for the last 3 years or so, paying annually. They bluntly refused, with "go to your credit card company and dispute the payment", knowing full well that the payment is over 6 months. The reason I wanted to cancel was that they have fallen behind when it comes to social media automation, but still charge a premium, compared to the likes of Buffer.Since moving to Buffer, i have got transparent pricing, a native Pinterest and Twitter integration (Twitter posting doesn't work from Hootsuite and it hasn't for years). With Buffer you get helpful emails with best practices at least twice a week.On the contrary, Hootsuite send 1 email a year and thats to see they have renewed your subscription. No warning, no nothing!Beware, but Hootsuite was good at one point but they've massively fallen behind the game and they are so arrogant that they are not bothered!Awful service and pitiful customer support!

I payed £84 for my sons chritmas gift…

I paid £84 for my sons Christmas gift card. For the ps5 wallet funds. Unfortunately the gift card voucher I bought from Morrisons was so dry that its code was unreadable once scratched.. why they don't have checks on how long a voucher card should be on display before its usability issues before purchasing. . . Because of over time, This will affect the voucher cards screatch film over time drying.. who we my son unfortunately has experienced. On christmas day. I've been in horrendous queues.. chatting with PlayStation support countless times. Boxing day and onwards. I was was asked to provide proof of purchase. Which was understandable. I provided images of the unreadable code of £84 Playstation. voucher gift card also my receipt for the purchase. This was just passed o to an investigation team. When clearly its absolutely so clear the voucher was unreadable and providing proof of recipes. Obviously. Clearly mis leading we will be contacted shortly. Was also i a lie.. waited in a queue for over 45 minutes to an hour more than once.. even with proof they still haven't issued a new code, refund or credit. My son had so much excitement when he saw the voucher. Now it's actually upset me so much. To see my sons face of beeing let down and feelings of hopelessness..As a parent I had to repurchase another gift at the same value. To rather watch my own flesh and blood suffer from disappointment. Playstation has a Poor standard & Customer service. Regarding what ever time of year I would think the amount of money we have spent alongside millions of other parents. This would have funded PlayStation to have had enough staff and courtesy for the customer to respond and resolve the issues which im sure is as common as they come... Especially when a paying customer deserve only what they have already paid for...Big Disappointment as Most parents would agree. And over priced articulate rubbish .unsellable digital toys. Worthless. So innocently as that. As a highly loved and honourably happy customer to playstation. My child my son. Still values this playstation company. For what reason I have no idea. For the amount of investment of time and money a child or member has given..Playstation has not once given back nor helped children who has no chance of because of poverty. Nothing is ever been complimentary for customers as us and many more..Disappointed disgraceful from how gaming once use to be. To becoming No different than a digital pimp or drug dealer.

Terrible ‘correctness’. Not what it used to be. I am actually saddened I have life membership, it is a complete waste of money into woke pockets of people who know nothing about the true purpose of the NT. VERY VERY sad.

Review of asus

Phone didn't even last one year, and they won't honor the Warranty...

My older phone died whilst travelling abroad, so I purchased an "Asus Zenfone 2" (ZE551ML) in Singapore to replace it, I knew that it came with a local warranty only, but believed (naively) that it would last at least 1yr.I genuinely couldn't fault the phone considering the specs for the money... First phone with 4GB of RAM, Powerful Intel Processor, Lot's of storage with expandable memory, and decent everything else; Granted there's better "Flagship" phones, but considering it's around a third of the cost of a top Samsung etc, it was good value for money.I happily raved to everyone I knew about how good a phone it was for the money, until...One day, randomly whilst charging, it literally just turned off, and never turned back on? It wasn't over charged, around 90%, and was using the official Asus provided Charging plug and cable.I contacted customer support who asked me to follow their instructions to perform a restart/cold boot, which I did to no avail, so they told me to fill in a claim form to get it replaced.I did so, only to eventually get a response stating that as it was purchased in Singapore it only had a local warranty and that they would not therefore be helping. I knew this from the start that it was a local warranty, but assumed (wrongly) that since the device was clearly a faulty unit (which after further research seems to be a fairly common fault), and happened less than 10 months from new, they would at least attempt to repair it for me seeing as other companies have done so in the past.Didn't even get an option to pay for the service or what they recommend to do to solve it, I just got a standardised email stating the above.I therefore do NOT recommend purchasing a product from Asus, not even based on the (Very) localised warranties, but the shoddy product quality and the after sales service. If you live in the UK, there's still much better phones to get for just a bit more money.
