I set up a zoom meeting with my aunt, we both live in California, we spoke for 3 hours about funeral arrangements for a family member. My aunt logged into the meeting on her phone, the phone number generated by the zoom meeting was a french number, she was charged by her carrier international fees, over $500, her carrier kindly offered her a back dated international plan, now she owes $200 for a zoom call which was basically a facetime & was not an international call. No one answers the customer service line, it prompts you to enter meeting number, then tells you time allotted is over & hangs up, you can not push 0 for a person, its not an option. The email support is no better, i have messaged for 10 days, with no response besides a automatic response with useless links to FAQ's. There is no number to call for billing or any specific issue, Its all general & no one answers or responds at all. During this time of Covid Zoom stocks are soaring, why cant they afford to hire customer service? They claim in the automatic message Covid is the reason they are ignoring my requests for an explanation as to why my meeting was routed through France when the meeting participants live in California, USA. I will never use zoom again & I will continue to tell others this tale & I will keep emailing until someone at zoom responds.
