Zillow is one of the most inaccurate estimates of home values on line. Their estimate of value of homes within neighborhoods is to say the least ridiculously inaccurate. Case in point... my home is surrounded by homes of equal size and similar quality. I bought my home for a good price and completely remodel it top to bottom. New windows doors baseboards master bath remodel, kitchen remodel with granite and new cabs, new floor coverings throughout, fresh Paint inside and out, landscape front and back, 9.3 kw paid for solar and pebble tec type pool resurface. I’ve spent almost 100000.00 in updating. Even my neighbors haven’t done as much updating as us yet my home is Zestimate is $75000.+ Less and More!!!! Also the comps they use never seem to be updated and some recent comps aren’t even in their systemBottom line “Do not use Zillow as a fair and honest estimate of ANY property. Zillow refine your software to be fair updated and honest.
