So it seems Zara no longer give paper receipts, so in order to get a receipt you need to give them your personal details (email /telephone etc) or download their app (more details given). You will then get an email receipt...... Clearly no-one thought this through. My partner just purchased an item, had the item in a bag and walked out of the store - the alarm sounded so security asked for proof of purchase - only there is no paper receipt, and the 'email' receipt had not come through yet. So security marches my partner back to the desk and makes her stand there for 15 minutes until the lady who served her appeared..... and said it was OK. -Great Shopping Experience Zara !!!!!!
