Software is fine though it still has issues with redirects. And I recommend using PHP for redirects and don't let Yoast get near your .htaccess -- you could end up with Internal Server Errors and getting timely assistance from Yoast is almost impossible. Better off checking with perplexity or other AI for answers. I asked about CLI and all I got were the usual questions. The good news is that when Yoast entries caused ISE, I have dealt with htaccess before and fixed it myself. There was no assistance in that regard from Yoast though I did ask. Whenever you consider changing your htaccess (or any file) make a backup of working file so you have safe restore. Someone less experienced would have snafued for awhile.
I am compelled to express my profound dissatisfaction with the support received from Yoast, specifically from a support representative named Alje Y. I have encountered a critical issue with the Yoast plugin where the sitemap fails to index all the pages on my website. This issue is significantly detrimental as it affects my site's visibility and search engine ranking, a problem not encountered with other SEO tools like SEMrush.Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue through Yoast's support channels, Alje Y.'s responses have been not only unhelpful but also frustratingly repetitive. The lack of effort to provide a viable solution or even properly investigate the issue reflects poorly on Yoast's commitment to customer support.I expected a much more professional and proactive approach to troubleshooting, especially given the severity of the issue at hand. It is disheartening to receive such subpar service from a well-regarded company in the SEO industry.Regrettably, if it were possible, I would rate this experience with 0 stars, as even 1 star seems generous given the current circumstances. I urge Yoast to address these support shortcomings and technical issues promptly to prevent further impact on their users' professional needs and business operations.
