What a joke. I was going to sign up with XERO from next financial year. I am a self-employed support worker and was looking for something more convenient than free invoice templates and spreadsheets. Tonight I went to start my free trial, to then pay from July. Except...... To sign up, Xero was meant to send me a confirmation link. That link never arrived. I tried twice. So I was going to contact them to see what might be wrong. Problem is, to do that I need to sign in. But I can't sign in, because I'm not actually signed up yet. And of course there is no email address and you can't call them. Instead I am offered all kinds of AI tripe as a "solution". I will NEVER give my business to a company that is not contactable, and where I can't get hold of an actual human being who will respond to my query. Suddenly spreadsheets don't seem quite so bad.
