Wells Fargo, after having applied twice with them for a PPP loan, declined us twice. It doesn't matter whether one escalates their request or not. We are a small, growing N. Texas mortgage brokerage doing about $30mm in gross sales a year. Due to our request involving an appx $21k PPP forgiveable loan and considering Wells Fargo would make 1% of that as a fee, or $210, we absolutely feel they have no interest helping small businesses like us as their eye is on simply making much larger fees. We found a small Mexia, TX, bank called Incommons that helped us succeed at receiving our PPP loan. BUYER BEWARE of Wells Fargo AND we've banked with them personally & for business for many years.
