Wells Fargo likes to brag about how your money is safe with them - it isn't. I was scammed on Venmo a few weeks ago. I realized I was being scammed so I put a stop payment on any Venmo transaction. They let it go right through and I lost $2,450. When I went to the bank the next day they told me I won't get that money back because I made the transactions. Sure. But how come you didn't stop the payment? Or have some measure to protect people from this scam that I'm sure many others are being victimized by? They're a sorry excuse for a bank.
