We purchased a very expensive item.

We purchased a very expensive item (expensive for retirees), and it was delivered 10 days ago. Since then the item has decreased in price almost $350. I called explained the situation, the first customer service person told us to return it at a cost of $430. The second person was frustrated with me when asking to speak with a manager, and our call was ended. I finally did a chat with a person, explain it was a large decrease in price was there anything they could do. I received a lot of reading from their book policies, no exceptions at all. The offers were save $215 in return shipping, (hassle for them & us), $95. refund, but that would void any warranty and any returns, (no common sense there), or the best they could do is a Sorry coupon for 10% off our next purchase. They had no customer service that had any exceptions, to their book of rules. It was really a sad frustrating experience with them. They don't care about their customers as a person. We called them several times with questions, and not once did anyone tell us they would be having a Labor Day Sale. We are a retired couple, & not well off. And was hoping they cared about their Customers. But just another big company with Terrible Terrible Customer Service, and Customer Relations. Sad it is all about them, and their policies, too bad for the little guy. No more Wayfair purchases, or recommendations to our friends or family.REPLY to Wayfairs REPLY: You are at 1.3 STARS. YOUR REPLY is to PACIFY everyone reading this. IT WAS 10 DAYS! IT WAS A WAYFAIR POWER MOVE. THE TIME YOU SPENT PAYING YOUR EMPLOYEES TO READ ME THE POLICY, YOU COULD OF DID MORE THAN A SORRY 10% PACIFY COUPON!!! MAYBE YOU SHOULD SPEND MORE TIME ON CUSTOMER SERVICE, 1.3 STARS!!!
