On Saturday I ordered a set of expensive lounge chairs with a side table and accidentally ordered the wrong color so I immediately (seconds!) went onto live chat to talk to somebody and they told me to just cancel the order and then re-order the right color. I made sure to clarify that I was going to get a full refund so I wasn’t paying for two sets and they confirmed I wouldn’t. So, I cancelled and re-ordered and then after the fact they came back and said oh sorry you can’t cancel, it’s already being processed (not shipped mind you!) “we lock in orders to ensure fast shipping” so in other words they scam you with their policies so you don’t cancel and then if you do, charge you ridiculous shipping return fees! I can’t even imagine what it’s going to cost me to return these heavy expensive chairs. To top it off, I’m a rewards member. I was like at the very least you could credit me the shipping fees since this was an error on your end and they were like absolutely not. Soooo frustrating 😑
