Totally let down

I booked a house with VRBO months in advance of summer holiday and had to pay in full. It was only when I was given the contact details couple of days before our holiday that I found out no booking was made at all. I had to arrange new plans at the last minute which worked out a bit more expensive and i have been emailing them for over 2 months now trying to get my full refund. They have refunded most of the initial payment.
