Was a guest a a nice VRBO property. Had a good time, then on our way home we got a notification that there was extensive damage to property. We absolutely left the place in great condition. We called VRBO to see what we could do. They said we had to prove we didn’t cause the damages. They took the host’s word and made us pay $800. Never again. You can just be blamed for damage that was there already- VRBO asked us why we didn’t complain about the damage. Because it was scuffs on a wall and we don’t care about some scuffs on a wall. I believe we were scammed by the host.
