This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my entire life. Basically, verbo rented me a rental that no longer existed, even though the host had made it clear that the rental was to be taken down, no one contacted me about it until I reached out to the host, and it has been several weeks of vrbo telling me they will reimburse me and then ignoring every follow-up I have. Everyone I've spoken to is obviously doing as little as possible to help, I've been passed around to five or six different people at least.
