Vrbo booked a room for us at a motel that was actually closed and charged the full amount against my credit card. Because the window for a cancellation refund ended 2 days before I made the reservation (made the reservation 9-28, but the cancellation window closed 9-26), they are refusing to refund any of the amount they charged. Edit - they replied to the above with a suggestion to reach out to customer support, but I have done that with no change so have engaged the help of the BBB. Vrbo has still not removed the charge.
