I am an owner of a rental. I have been in good standing for over five years. I canceled a reservation with the consent of the guest due to an ice storm that would prohibit them to be able to drive to our location. The cancellation reason stated this situation. Five months later they put my listing on hold because I did not seek a waiver for this cancellation. I’m not aware of a waiver process, although I’m sure I have missed fine print along the way. However, no common sense was applied to this situation and now the listing is on hold and taken off the Internet. My current customers who have reservations cannot access. VRBO is not only harming themselves from future book, but the guests who cannot access my site. What happened to a partnership? What happened to common sense decisions?
