Don't rent house in Saco, Maine the "Surf Spry" ID HA-V260N3. Can't get full refund. reserved 6 months in advance - cancelled 10 days after reservation due to change in travel plans. VRBO and Host responded to my cancelation but host did not process the cancelation - should I have visited him???? - Now I have to lose USD 3'000? A scam - host knew full well what he was doing to be able to keep a portion of the deposit and potentially all if the 2nd payment had not been requested. VRBO claims to have sent me a mail requesting more info after my complaint, but never received this mail to my knowledge and no response to my further queries. Also not acceptable. I see this seems to be a common complaint with VRBO amongst others. Never again with VRBO!
