I don’t know what they’re selling. It surely can’t be internet because I don’t have any.

I have a "gigabit" connnection, that is playing 56k Modem simulator on a daily basis. I’m writing this while tethering to my iPhone’s LTE via USB because not even trustpilot will work on Vodafone’s "internet".In February 2021, the customer support told me my issue is "known since December" and "will be fixed until end of March... 2022" after repeatedly gaslighting me about it.The best thing is that I’m living in a newly built street — thus with entirely new and up-to-date infrastructure — and yet they still can’t manage to give me even DSL 6000 (kbit ofc). Yet, they sell me a Gigabit connection with these impressive stats at least for 2 hours per day:22s ping67 kbit/s download0 kbit/s uploadIn addition to that, the Vodafone support hotline pinky promised me to give me an automatic 40% rebate on my bills. Since they’re too dumb to differentiate a 0 from a 1 they apparently also think that 8€ of 50€ is 40% reduction. The customer support told me there is "nothing they can do" to fix the invoice and that I should call again in a month to BEG for the reduction.They don’t even consider or care that my time might be valuable and that I have a life outside of calling vodafone support.At this point, I’d literally switch to DSL 16k from anyone else rather than have vodafone’s "gigabit" "best network in Germany" scam product. Unfortunately, there’s no other ISP in my area due to vodafone buying exclusive rights for 2 years.I’m living in the middle of Berlin and my internet in 2021 is so bad that I’m seriously considering using Starlink or buying unlimited LTE instead.Like seriously, I tried to play ONLINE CHESS and it doesn’t even work because that’s already too much load for Vodafone.
