I received an overdraft fee from my bank b/c the funds weren't deposited to/sent over to my bank until the next day. I was having work done on my house and paid the contractor with a check from funds being deposited "instantly" from Venmo. Turns out he cashed the check and it bounced bc the money didn't transfer until the following day. When I called Venmo to try to get a refund since it was their fault, they very causally told me no, sorry. Nothing they can do. So frustrating, I will NEVER USE THIS SERVICE EVER AGAIN!!
