Venmo is by far the worst out of any ePay system that I use. Here was my horror show experience which I am currently in the process of arbitrating.I hired a guy to put up a cow fence. He started the fence 6 ft away from the post by the gate allowing plenty of space for my cows to just walk right out. I showed him where to start. Regardless that should be a no-brainer. He proceeds to attach High tensile barbed wire to brush and sumac trees which are like giant weeds. They bend easily. Then he leaves the role of fencing hanging off the tree. He's drunk and proceeds to throw beer cans all over my yard and starts arguing with me. I told him to just get out and don't come back. Now I have to replace a very expensive roll of high tinsel barbed wire on top of the money I was out paying him. And I've got to pay someone extra to undo the hack job that he did. So the $250 that I pay him is actually closer to a $600 loss. Venmo says thr work he completed is satisfactory. No refund. So I had to use a company called Fair shake.com that basically takes them to arbitration for 20%. I have used PayPal for 22 years including for my business account. This reflects poorly on paypal. They need to dump venmo. I did.
